Too many people know how to "work the system." Welfare has its place in our society and does help those less fortunate lift themselves up but the rules and regulations need to be more stringent. Help those who attempt to help themselves.

Its not the people who are lazy its the staff.If they would investigate the completed paper work and assign the people to available trainings the system would serve its purpose.

I won't disagree with your last statement. Certainly there is enough blame to go around but the ultimate responsibility lies on the individual and not the staff. People know if and when they are taking advantage and they need to be weeded out.

The staff is hired to do a job. The staff determines eligibility once provided forms are completed,If forms are not completed the recipient is then rejected.If the staff cant do their job hire the welfare recipents who can.Recycle the system.Then se
